CRICKET!!!
What a win!!!. It has been an ultimate turnaround after the disastrous tour of Lanka and Zimbabwe. However we need to be conservative in presenting bouquets as we need to be thoughtful while throwing bricks. It has been just one series , that too in India. A better test would be against South Africa and on the next tour. Let's atleast hold back the cash rewards. The cricketers already earn a lot. The government can spend the money for more needy people.
Things do look better. There is a definite charge in the team akin to the 2003 World Cup dream run.
Ranatunga in his article says that India needs to respect their heroes.

Mr Ranatunga can mind his own business and handle the mess that is Lankan cricket today. Ganguly partly deserves what is being dealt out to him today. If even part of Chappell's mail is true, then he deserves to be kicked out. Of course he is a great player and has led India to great glory, but history has taught us that people ,who tend to live on past glory , tend to perish.
The selection of the Test team to be announced on Nov 28 should be pretty exciting. Laxman, Ganguly, Zaheer and Nehra would be biting their nails in anticipation.
