Ah! the magic of a good song or movie.


I was up since the wee hours of the movie due to a shitty car alarm which kept going on. There was a deadline beating down my back , I decided to use the time to work. Around 10 with a minor headache and sleep beating down my eyes, I thought I should take a break and get back to work around noon. As is the norm with me, before sleeping I switched on the TV and started flipping channels. There it was. Believe me, I love Indian Cinema. I can watch Indian Cinema day in day out, well most of them from Govinda starrers to Kamal Haasan starrers . But there is something in Hollywood that sets them apart. No, I am not fascinated by the sci-fi and ultra modern movies but the stories some of them tell. The movie in question is "Shattered Glass". This is the true story of a young journalist who fell from grace when it was found he had fabricated over half of his articles. I'm sure you will be able to get more info from Google about this. But watch it if you can lay your hands on it. Amazing movie with amazing performances. Now back to work. :-)
